 Southern Sudan Mission was founded by Susan D. Lintz of Newport Beach, California. It started in 2009 as a web site to be a voice and provide information about the life of people in Southern Sudan but has since expanded.
In 2010 Southern Sudan Mission became a California nonprofit public benefit organization and is registered with the IRS as a 501 (c) (3). It is also registered with the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) as a humanitarian aid organization.
Our mission is to provide training, services and materials in order to better the lives of needy residents in south Sudan and other parts of Africa in such areas as education, health care, teaching, and other fields in order to allow the residents to obtain safer, healthier, more satisfied and fulfilled lives.
